Q-NOVA® – Recycled nylon fiber with the same high quality
Q-NOVA® by Fulgar is a nylon 6.6 fiber made from recycled raw materials derived from the company’s own production process. These materials cannot be reused in any other way and would otherwise be discarded as waste.
The fiber is produced through a mechanical regeneration process that uses no chemical agents, making it a more environmentally friendly method. This process meets current traceability requirements, ensuring full documentation of the material’s origin.
In short:
· Nylon 6.6 fiber with 60% recycled content
· Made from production waste that would otherwise be discarded
· Mechanically regenerated without chemicals
· Full traceability throughout the process
Technical properties:
· Low weight: Q-NOVA® has a density of 1.14 g/cm³, which is lower than polyester (1.34 g/cm³) and cotton (1.54 g/cm³), while maintaining the same coverage.
· Moisture management: The fiber has excellent moisture control properties, helping to keep the skin fresh and comfortable.
· Color performance: Q-NOVA® is designed for optimal dye uptake and achieves color fastness levels comparable to standard polyamide.
Q-NOVA® therefore contains 60% recycled material and helps reduce the consumption of new resources.
